Hello, and Welcome!

My name is Chris Avvampato, and I'm the Video Media Technology teacher at State High. I also teach Computer Graphics 1 and Exploring Engineering.

I earned my B.S.Ed in Technology Education from California University of Pennsylvania in 2014. I'm currently completing the internship requirement for my M.Ed through Penn State focusing on Educational Leadership, as I would like to one day become a principal.

I started teaching in 2014 and I've loved my job ever since!
Throughout my teaching (and real-world) experiences in the many different fields of technology (From Manufacturing and Construction to Programming & Robotics), I've gained valuable knowledge that I'm excited to share with the students of State High.

I'm involved with extracurricular activities as the previous TSA Advisor at the high school (both 9/10 & 11/12 chapters), and I coach outdoor Track & Field (Throwing).

I'm very excited to be a part of the Technology Education team here at State High, and I'm looking forward to showing students the exciting world of Technology and Engineering!
